I was inspired a while back by the beautiful Hubble images I saw while visiting the Griffith Observatory.
I loved the way the light refracted in a web like manner while simotaniously creating a geometric shape. It was also made as a memorial to Hubble which is sadly being retired.
Felted roving on wire, croche brass for the ring band. This was apart of the RAW kinetic challenge for last week.
On one side the color is more defined and on the other the wire shows through more, I couldn't decide which I liked better so I went with the more colorful. I do wish that the metal would show more though.
